Handicraft trade with almost a hundred years of experience
Lankava is a Kauhava-based company selling handicraft supplies, which started as early as 1925 as a loom that employed home weavers in the area and sold their products further. Today, Lankava serves handicraft enthusiasts and retailers by selling yarns and handicraft accessories with a selection of more than 5,000 items.
Lankava has been a PostNord customer for ten years. The cooperation started with the growth of the Swedish market, and PostNord was able to solve the logistics challenges in the new market in terms of pick-up parcels, business parcels and pallet shipments.
In addition to Sweden, parcels are delivered to Denmark, Norway, Germany and the Baltic countries. Foreign buyers buy certain products, for example, rarer colors and threads from Lankava's own production. The online store serves in English and Swedish.
