Happy Olive brings Cretan olive oil directly from producers, without intermediaries. The company started when Merja, who initially went to the island as a tour guide and later became an olive farmer, noticed that olive oil was being sold to large wholesalers and at the same time the quality of the oil was deteriorating and the price paid to the farmer was falling.

Happy Olive buys the olive oil separated from the best Early Harvest batches at the beginning of the harvest season directly from the farmers and brings the oil fresh by road to Finland. This way the oil is always as fresh as possible. The oil is bottled in small batches at an olive oil separator in the village of Tsivaras, and Happy Olive distributes it to e-commerce customers in Finland and Sweden through its warehouse in Tampere.
